I think war in Europe is a tad overdramatic, but it does concern me that the extrem right wing appear to be gaining more and more support across Europe, and the USA.
Whichever one of the candidates Trump or Clinton Americans vote for, they just have two pieces of shit from the same dog to choose from..

The evidence is overwhelming. Look how close they've got, and that's just since last night. Sneaky f****

That's a bit like Wales claiming Anglesey.

Um, if NATO having bases in all those places is supposedly a threat to Russia, where the fek do you suggest they have them? Antarctica? The moon?

Another country that we must fear is Iran. They have covertly inched their country towards masses of US military bases in order to threaten them.

You can tell sterling has bombed, the Russians have managed to afford to re-employ their two shills within the same month.

Be interesting to see if Pep can get the best out of him.

    Personally I think he's a bit shit.

Although the Russians are getting 'friskier' for sure, their military capability is some way behind were it was 20 years ago. Sure, theyve got nuclear missiles but in real terms, after Glasnost they stopped spending on defence. Russia under Putin has increased spending again but last year they spent only £10b more than we did. Think of that a moment - in terms of spending per capita it is not that much.

The Russian fleet is in parts a rusting wreck, along with its nuclear submarine programme. Even as far back as Afghanistan they did not supply their troops adequately and they took a huge kicking despite sending huge troop numbers there. Russian roads in the main are the equivalent of B roads in the UK and getting large numbers of military anywhere takes them a long long time.

They cannot really take on the West in a war. What they can do, and Putin certainly is doing so, is threaten and cajole a reaction.

Nuclear weapons aside, Russia is not a threat to this country. We have more chance of being invaded by Donald Trump.
