Georginio Wijnaldum: Liverpool agree £25m deal with Newcastle for midfielder
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36846756
Newcastle could have a lot of spending power in this window with this and their parachute payments. Though they probably have a massive wage bill too...
Really? I haven't been paying attention. Only ever check for Welsh/Cardiff news

Thanks Jon. I looked it up after your post. The Gayle and Ritchie transfers are just over the £10m mark. So they've spanked a lot like you say. Hopefully their doing an OGS. That's already quite a few players already to integrate into a team and I'm sure they've got more spending to do.
They should smash this league this season
Those type of players will out of their comfort zone they are not used to the championship which can ruffle those type of teams who want to play , they stormed the league last time with 102 points but they had rough and tumble players such as Carroll Barton Nolan ,seem to think we made the play off s that year , but they beat us soundly at home
Maybe. But last time they bounced straight back up they did it with a settled side that was kept together after relegation.
This time they are buying a lot of new players with big fees and at the same time trying to get rid of a lot of players with big wages (not so successfully so far). They have a good manager but he doesn't know the Championship and they could get it very badly wrong.
i think of it as most clubs in the championship will be going to st james park and be completely overwhelmed so expect them to win most of their home games they've mad some good signings and can't believe Bournemouthhad let matt ritchie go
I expect them to ease their way to promotion.
I don't think villa will go up
Strange Liverpool letting joe Allen go?? Just had an amazing Euro's and going backwards to stoke?? Weird. Great signing for someone gutted it's just Stoke I guess
