I'd rather we'd have carried on the way we were. Those guys are here for what they can get out of the club not for what they're going to put in. Most of the revenue comes from the TV deal anyhow, and the money that another ten thousand seats would cost will be better spent ensuring we stay in the PL.

All in all I'm not too happy about this deal and I'm normally a glass half full bloke.

I wonder how told him to that, as he is a yank he knows little or nothing about football (soccer to him)

There's more football on TV here than there is in Britain. I'm guessing these guys occasionally read a book or a newspaper too. One of them already owns a club in the US. Our change to red was well documented and talked about during our season in the Premier League.

Don't worry about it - poster's assumptions here are always proven to be correct .

Football may not be a "major" sport in the US (although I argue that it is) - but those who follow the sport Stateside are always knowledgeable. People usually take offence at the vocabulary they use, and use that to discredit their knowledge.

Concentrating on their own club may be a good idea as apparently all is not well in their boardroom

The next disaster is just around the corner, in my opinion. The club lost money in its one season in the Premier League, an amazing achievement all things considered. Cardiff should be one of the wealthiest clubs in the Championship, that it isn't speaks volumes for the Cardiff City boardroom and its occupants over the last 5 years.

Why stop at 5 years ?

When was the last time we had a decent Chairman and board ?

Not in my lifetime as a fan since 1965.

We are a Welsh club why would you wish we had "American owners" any normal fan would wish we had Welsh owners.

What's that got to do with you wanting us to have American owners?

You can't work that out for yourself.

We've had Welsh owners in the past and they've been terrible. We currently have a Malaysian owner and he's a ****ing clown. I'd take Swansea's American owners in a heartbeat.

Swansea are the fourth Premier League club with American owners. The others being Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd. Not bad company I'm sure you'd agree.

Got Swansea bay Buccaneers written all over it...going to be a huge season for them after this and flirting with relegation last season. Williams is their rock, when he goes the ship will sink I reckon.
