Mental illness Is becoming more common with these attacks, the latest incident shows he had history of mental illness ,was depressed , feared contact with others, perhaps we are seeing a new type of suicide instead of jumping of bridges , go with a bang instead .

Frustratingly for the relatives of the victims , you also get the strap line he was known to police for assault, theft and drugs offences , surely some joined up thinking and communication could perhaps be applied better, with the creation of high risk individuals.

Not sure if Germany is like Belgium and France where there is a disjointed sharing of information , something that Cameron /May has fixed in the UK ,where all sides of the intelligence service and police now share as a group .

It seems to be never ending , today a French Catholic Priest was killed and beheaded by 2 men with knives and 5 others severely injured.

It's ok though not a problem for some on here - it was probably just 2 people with a mental problem - that just happened to take a church group hostage and kill a priest.

I'm appalled by this barbaric act, both as a human being and as a catholic.The people who did this are scum.
That doesn't mean that all members of their faith are scum, just the ones who did it.
