Yes agree, hopefully the lads that Slade shipped out and never gave a chance will do under Trollope. Never did understand why we shipped him off to Port Vale whilst we were struggling for pace ourselves.
Declan John was the other player to go off. Just finished at 2-1 - City rode their luck at times in the twenty five minutes I watched, but with Harris, James and Tutonda in a very young back four, this was some way short of the sort of team you'd expect to see us fielding in the Championship - that said, I was impressed by Harris, Kennedy and Adeyemi, three players who barely featured between them last season and it's interesting to note that someone like Tom James has already been involved with the senior side more in a week of games under Paul Trollope's management than he was in nearly two seasons under Russell Slade.
Yes thought he showed plenty of pace and got behind them a couple of times too. Think he could be a good asset to us if he keeps that sort of enthusiasm.

Monchengladbach won on penalties. But with two normal time wins we should be Champions.
