If in Cardiff and require to get to the hamlet of Barry by taxi very late of an evening, avoid having to pay utterly astronomical up-front cash fixed sums to indifferent taxi drivers by instead asking for a taxi to Penarth - Victoria Road / Station Approach
And then get another Taxi from the rank there to Barry.
Used to work out about a third/half of the price all told, didn't even take much longer.
Maybe Uber has put an end to all that malarkey.
