CARDIFF WIN THE OSNABRUCK TOURNAMENT

With two wins Cardiff have won the Osnabruck Tournament.

The Bluebirds beat the hosts 3 - 0 before a 2 - 1 victory over FC St Pauli.

Borussia Monchengladbach needed to win both of their games to challenge City but they drew 0 - 0 with St Pauli finally beating them 5-4 on penalties.

Monchengladbach then beat Osnabruck 2 - 1 in the final game of the day.

So with two wins in normal time Cardiff are the Champions, Monchengladbach second, St Pauli in third place and the hosts Vfl Osnabruck the 4th placed team.

Vfl Osnabruck tweeted the follow (whcih seems to confirm this)
