Yes you can renew in the ticket office, not just online. If you require a new card then you will need a photo now to with it and they will charge you £15 for this new card!

Will they let him renew on a match day though? I seem to remember before where you were allowed to renew before 12.00 then it was turned over to match tickets only but I can't find anything on it this time round.

Sorry, I missed the match day part. You are right the ticket office can be like that on match days only focusing on match day sales.

I would say no.
City have a real inability to take your money off you - goes back years with me and see examples of this all the time.
Frustrates me as I take people out of the market daily and leave nothing to chance.

I have my season ticket in Google wallet and my son has my card for the games I can't get to. It looks like I'll have to fork out £15 when I renew.

It's an Android app that stored credit and debit cards and tickets etc on your phone. You just hold your phone to the Cardiff reader (or turnstile) to use it.
