I was there in 1977 when the lost their first ever one day final to Middlesex in a game they should have won

2 more one day finals lost since

Finally 44 years later they win their first one day final

Probably their finest ever 50 (or 60) over performance

    Re: GLAMMY

Durham played someone from the Hundred, while we stuck with the.players who got us to the Final.

I would have taken 296 any day of the week and was surprised that the media seemed to think it was so much under par.

I may be wrong, but that’s the first Cup Final we’ve ever won isn’t it?

Great and well deserved win, proud of them.

So good all tournament, absolutely brilliant. To put up 296 after losing Rutherford early was a food effort. To then win by 58 runs, what a bowling performance

Absolutely fantastic. What a superb finale. I don’t give a damn it’s a Thursday in Nottingham. We’ve won a final. See how much it meant to them and what a team spirit. Loved it.

Crap decision. What about Cooke’s semi performance. But who cares……

Well we lost in 1977 (watched the former on telly and got murdered, was at Lords for the other but can't remember much about it at all LOL) and in the 90's i think but first trophy since 2004.

I did say playing at Trent Bridge and not Lords might be a good thing, and so it came to pass

Well done Glammy! Enjoy the night players and fans alike.

    Fantastic!
