250 is the score needed to be able to take over Leics in the table.
155-8 the inevitable collapse
Glammy need 181 to win, yet to start their second innings.
Come on batsmen don't let the bowlers down
Was too scared to look after their front enders looked comfortable earlier in the day but 181 to win with a full two days to get them I didn't expect. We took the last 7 wickets for just 70 runs... been a crazy couple of days.
Normally you'd fancy us but we all know what kind of season Glam have had with the bat and as such nobody would put money on us to get them.
Time for Rudolph to show us why he is captain and bring the team home, no rush!
Just checked and Selman already gone
Rudi's not going to do a Mowbray then

Didn't see that coming

At the risk of joining the conspiracy theory group on here I just knew that they would find a way to strip Durham of their international matches and at the same time make it sound if the county should be grateful.
I wonder who may be one of the beneficiaries of the reallocation of the England matches?
On a positive point at least Glamorgan are , more or less, guaranteed to not finish bottom.
And the season hasn't started yet

Don't look like Glammy will be spending any money on players this season then
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/39219285
Money well spent by cardiff council then
How are they even viable?. Most sports teams would have gone under with such poor attendances, next to zero TV money.
County Cricket isnt a viable business prospect. However the ECB makes money of international attendances and TV money, to create players to play at this level they need a professional circuit.
The ECB needs to fund the clubs at that level to exist. Currently there are half a dozen clubs struggling to cope with that funding.
If it goes the way that clubs go to the Wall then you will have left a handfull of London clubs, Yorkshire and Lancashire. Then the England set-up has too narrow a net.
If Glamorgan go then cricket in Wales effectively follows it. So i think Cardiff Council has done ok to fund a good sporting facility, that brings high level sporting events to the capital.

Let's hope he takes som wickets
I think he will. With Van der Gugten and Hogan thats a good attack. Presumably VDG and Hoges will be fit soon. Bragg might be available for Friday so presumably Lloyd or Selman will be dropped.
He will need to perform better than Waqar Younis did for Glamorgan all those years ago to give the club any joy at all this season.
He'll also need to be able to bat a bit too!
Good attitude to come in with though, I'll give him that.
Welcome aboard young fellamelad and good luck. You're gonna need it!
Doesn't look too good
