This is the most inexperienced side I can ever recall so they deserve some slack. Going to be tough to get a result here. It makes sense to give the youngsters a chance and rest key players for Finals Day.

I didn't look at the line up before I posted

    I've never heard of Murphy

    Sussex 113-5

    Re: GLAMMY

    171-7, with Hogan's figures 8-0-58-0!

    Re: GLAMMY

Glammy have subsided after tea from 71/1 to 90/5 so only 116 ahead. They may well be bowled out this evening.

    Re: GLAMMY

Sorry Glammy were 69/1 and are now 111/6

    Re: GLAMMY

Meschede and Cullen batting together again we need another big stand from them

    120-6

    We certainly do.
Bad light stopped play at 126/6. It's a shame they had the collapse after tea because they were doing well. A lot rides on Meschede.

Oh dear, a familiar look to the scorecard.
Jordan did well. Hogie, it's time for you to show what you can do

    Re: GLAMMY

A wicket for Carey of the first ball of Sussex's pursuit of 209, they're 2-1, but must be favourites to win a game which has turned out to be more competitive than I expected it to be.

    Re: GLAMMY

    Re: GLAMMY

    157-6 Nash out

    In with a chance

What a shame they couldn't quite pull off the victory against a full strength Sussex side. Surprised Hoges didn't recall Carey at the death. Some very promising performances from our youngsters.

They lost, I think there's just one more game left, Gloucester at home. What a desperate red ball season this was once again

Still two games to go. It's been another very poor season in red ball cricket. No point playing Rudolph and Ingram now as neither will be playing this form of the game any longer. Bring in two youngsters instead of them next week like Owen Morgan and maybe bring Donald back.
Maybe give Cullen a game too and rest Cooke who has had a busy season.
I would also bring in Smith for De Lange who has been average in this form of the game.

Next season we need a new opener, a middle order batsman and a spinner. Salter is not good enough as a spinner and should focus on trying to be a specialist batsman.

Agree with what you say regarding new faces, where does Hogan stand?
