Obviously not as old as you (and dominoes is my game), but I agree.
But get a few pints in and the mood will change.
Looking forward to seeing the changes and the size of the crowd....

Too soon, too many other distractions, too warm. It's the same every August, more so now as the Olympics have decided to run into the British football season. Give it four weeks and everyone will be up for it...

An interesting social comment. Was it sincere or sarcastic?

I used to attend my local church er, religiously, every Sunday, that was until the vicar wondered aloud why each week there was next to nowt in the collection box.

The moral descent of the UK gathers pace along with dissolution.

    I hate sunday kickoffs.

I despise sundays in general as the inevitable monday is coming,

    Me too.
Sunday is for trolling around sainsburys, gardening and slobbing out in front of the telly.

Trust me, if you'd been to every home game last season "excited" wouldn't be the word you were using.

Wasn't impressed at all with this being a Sunday fixture, waiting for a lift to the pub now, few pints, down the game, few pints after..............I'm warming to it slightly

    Napier dead. All losing interest.

Why have this game on a Sunday but not on tv?

Re: It don't feel like a FOOTIE DAY !

Because it was only moved to accommodate the Rovers game. So ironically, it was moved for TV, but it's not on TV.

That's what you get when you sell your soul to SKY! Feel sorry for those who were at the CCS on Thursday night and today. I have no interest/access to SKY so didn't get to watch the cup game and couldn't make it today because it's Sunday. (And yes I go to church on Sunday - not ashamed to say it!). Bet the attendance was rubbish today too.

Complaining about the attendance when you didn't attend yourself?!?!?

Nothing to do with you and when I wasn't attending I didn't moan about the crowds

I wonder if Gofer has seen more than 1 game in 18 months? Maybe he has a season ticket - in which case, his "attendance" would be included in the figures.

I get to every home game that is played at 3pm on a Saturday. I live 110 miles from Cardiff and rely on public transport, hence I cannot attend any evening games. On most Sundays I am in church. I am a season ticket holder, so yes my "attendance" is counted, hence my interest in what the "real" attendance figure was today.

I mean, 1 game in 18 months and now you feel you're in a position to attack other people's non attendance. Fair play.
