If Trollope has so much confidence in a 3-5-2 why did he immediately abandon it on his first substitution? Difficult to pick out anyone who played anywhere near the required standard. Fred won his fair share in the air and Manga did ok at the back but its the collective team performance, the shape, the tactics, the lack of ideas, devoid of passion. Very disappointing for first home outing, truly truly awful but lets hope for better Wednesday. Too early to judge yet

Hear what you're saying but where does that leave him now? The players will lose confidence in the system if they know we will abandon it soon as we go a goal down. Surely if he sees it as the way to go we have to give the system a fair chance

He has said that he will be flexible and I hope he's willing to adapt in play. The players need to be able to switch if they see its not working. Personally I thought he left it too late today

That system is ok if you have a Bale and Ramsey we have not and it never looked like we were going to have a shot on goal let alone score.Back to the drawing board Mr Trollope.He should consider giving ALF a go whats to loose at the moment.
