Welsh watch (feel free to add those missed)

Ashley Williams played the full 90 minutes as Everton kept their unbeaten run alive and now sit in a top four spot. Joe Allen was on the receiving end of this result as the new directive seems to be hitting Stoke harder than most.

Sam Vokes played 90 minutes but couldn't repeat last weeks stunning goal as Burnley went goaless against Chelsea.

Joe Ledley sat on the bench while Hennessey seemed to be out injured for their game as Palace scored in the 93rd minute to secure their first point of the season.

King was on the bench as Leicester picked up their first three points against Swansea in weather Vardy described as English but more akin to the downpour in the Wales England Victory Shield tie a few years back (when Wales won and England started to think about running away).

Bale played the entire match for Real Madrid's win but apart from a few nice touches it was a quieter week than last game's brace.

Danny Ward was given special mention by his manager in post-game chat as his current club went top of the championship.

Tom Bradshaw came on as a late sub for a sub and scored for Barnsley's big win at home.

Cotterill sat on the bench as he watched Brum rack up a big win and Chester picked up a booking across the city as he was perhaps another wishing to have missed this week's game.

Macdonald played 54 minutes, was booked but his new side (Wigan) won the game.

Paul Dummett played in the late game and apparently whipped in one good free-kick as Newcastle looked to continue to make waves in a league they don't want to be in.

Wes Burns played the full game for Aberdeen against Celtic but perhaps wishing he hadn't. Nothing seen to suggest he was at fault but a bad day for Aberdeen. Better day (though not season) for Fon Williams as ICT picked up their first win to move level with the team now sharing their position at the bottom of the SPL.

Lockyear and Harrison's local derby against Swindon was rained off after 65 minutes.

Morgan Fox helped Charlton to a point against league leaders Bolton.

George Williams on the bench as MK were defeated against Peterborough. Peterborough had a Binnon-Williams on the bench who must have a little Welsh in him.

Meades helped Wimbledon to a solid point.

Welsh youth player Ampadou played 76 minutes for Exeter as they lost to Pompey but for someone on his school holidays this hopefully had far more positives than other.

Newport drew 2-2 with huge, City legend John Parkin getting onto the scoresheet.
