Thread: Burke (forest)

    Burke (forest)

    Signed for Red Bull Leipzig

Fair play to the lad for taking a leap into foreign football so young. Not enough British players willing to ply their trade in Europe which could be really beneficial to them if they gave it a go

    Looks a fantastic talent.

I dare say he will be on big bucks seeing as they have paid 13m for him.

    Re: Burke (forest)

Burke is an outstanding, home produced talent. He has physical strength, quick feet and great pace. It is so rewarding to see clubs outside the Premier Leauge producing this level of footballer. It should give every club optimism. I am pleased he has taken an alternative route to the top of his profession. I sincerely hope it works out for him.

The Premier League has a conundrum at the moment, it has considerably more money than other Eurpean leagues but the pool of talent than an recruitment is getting smaller. Hence, clubs like Leicester with wise recruitment and a good coaching and organisation can compete with the elite.

I'm glad he hasn't gone to the Premier League because he might've rotted away playing a couple of games now and again and then sent back out on loan to the Championship.

Good luck to him in Germany.

Is there any reason we might have forgotten the Premier League Champions? Or has my sense of humour deserted me?

Perhaps you are on a level of intelligence and humour beyond the rest of us mortals!
