This is the conundrum of being an aspirational Championship team. You want premier league standard players but you won't get them unless they're either injury prone, lazy, bad attitude, personal issues etc. or you just get lucky with scouting.

And, unless you get really luck with scouting, there is always a chance that there issues collectively flare up and you miss out but have spent high wages. I think that was DJ's time here in a nutshell.

There is absolutely no point in signing Morrison unless you are willing to give his off the field issues attention also. I don't think we were willing to do so last time and thus it was a complete waste of money.
