My missus has got Facebook.
Every time she goes on there she just gets annoyed with it. Says it's just people posting pictures of their food or trying to convince everyone how brilliant their partner/kids/life is.

Never joined and never will. Although apparently there are some pics of a bird who works in Aldi on there that are worth a look.

I have it but only to have a nose at people I otherwise would never have any contact with. People only seem to post things they believe should be celebrated which are mostly not as good as they make out or post about **** ups in their lives. It makes me feel better about myself. I don't post anything on it though.

Facebook has 30 million UK users - that's nearly half the population. To casually dismiss that many as poor, uneducated and self-centered is an excellent summation.
Although, I daresay if Facebook members were canvassed about how they would characterise a typical football message board user then the results would be just as uncomplimentary.
