I'm much happier with Lambert than Lafferty.
Add and attacking midfielder or wide player with pace and an ability to shoot on target, and next week an experienced free agent goalkeeper, and I'll be more confident again.
Would prefer him to Lafferty, I think he would fit into the team better myself.
I was just thinking the same, Lambert has a much better track record at club level & has none of the negative baggage associated with Lafferty. I also think that he could have a positive impact on Fred & Zohore which could help them to develop.
A big lanky forward is the only hope for our formation.
Hopefully the wing backs whip some balls in as we have no threat through the middle.
