    Did May support remain?

My understanding from the EU referendum was that May was a soft and background remainer who has created a cabinet of various positions on the spectrum. It now seems that in addition to wishing to scrap the human rights act she wishes to take action to blot on the idea of freedom of movement with only the very wealthy or well connected having a right to migrate to the UK (which most likely will be returned for our citizens) and buddy even more up to China despite their climate and human rights record. This government is being dragged further further right and further into the hands of a controlling upper class. It's no wonder so many immigrants are fearful for their status here.
