Its just players getting injured, what would be in it for Tsonga with nearly 18m in prize money in his career to fix this match.

Most of the match fixing allegations involved players lower in the rankings taking the money so they would be able to travel to other tournaments in the tour to win points to advance their career.

Like with all match fixing, which lets be honest happens in all sports, it happens at the lower levels, where there is less money, so the match fixing fees become attractive.
