Thread: Can we do a Crystal Palace of 2003/04 ? Down and out to play-offs.

Can we do a Crystal Palace of 2003/04 ? Down and out to play-offs.

I remember Ian Dowie, taking over a Palace side on their uppers.

Can it be achieved here, with Trolls or a new face, or was that a one off for football, as I don't think anyone else (maybe Blackpool), has made such a surge up the table.

Think Roy Keane did the same with Sunderland some years back as well.....Don't think we currently have the manager or players to do that sadly.

Barnsley were in the relegation zone in League 1 last Christmas and are 4th in the Championship now, but, umm, No

Yes 2006/7season 20 points after 17 games ended up with 88 on 46 games and went up as champions.

We're currently on five points from eight games.

I can't see us getting another 15 points from the next 9.

On current form we're on about 1 point every 2 games, so after 17 games we should be on about 10 points.

I'd take 4th from bottom now.

The very simple answer is NO. Have you been watching this lot?

That Crystal Palace side were free scoring. That had a front line of Andy a Johnson scoring 30, Wayne Routledge, Neil Shipperly and Dougie Freedman all giving them pace, threat and a huge goal suppply. And we got which of those qualities?

You've got more chance of Splott David successfully negotiating with Mila Kunis to shit on his chest for a fiver.

Was about to say Reading. They were hovering above relegation until about Decwmber and then started getting results.
