Would this be a good move?

For Nugent obviously, but also for Bale to get out of Ronaldo's shadow?

Real always have too many chiefs in their teams. It's a testament as to how good this current team is that they win anything despite not playing a perfect system.

Bale at his best needs a free role. As does Ronaldo. Probably Modric too. And Rodriguez. And Kroos even too.

Bad move, not least as he may well find himself in a similar position at United with all their egos.

Bale doesn't need to prove how good he is at Real but needs to be more consistent then hopefully Perez and Zidane will see sense.
He is at the moment too passive a player whereas Ronaldo NEEDS to be numero uno and influences others to his own needs.
I don't see this changing, not in the short term.

I hope Bale slugs it out and "grows a pair" because he can sulk if things aren't going his way.

Interesting that for the Las Palmas game tonight, Zidane has dropped Benzema for Morata who partners Ronaldo and Bale.
    Just started on SS5

I will see Las Palmas play in January. At the Nou Camp.

Ronaldo has just been taken off at 1-1.
Very similar circumstances to last week when Bale was taken off.
At least Zidane is consistent evening things up.
Will they get a winner though with 15 mins left?

RM were actually 2-1 up when I posted (must have missed Benzema goal when I went for a pee).... however it is now 2-2.

For what it's worth, Bale disappointing, as was Ronaldo.
