    The End of Cash

The BBC seems to have taken up the cause, so don't expect it to hang around for much longer.

Give it a while, and everybody will be saying what a great idea it is

Hardly ever use cash. But I am ready for them. They wont get me. I have an allotment, so I will survive.

Once physical money disappears so will any semblance of the anonymity and privacy it provides. Governments and their banking masters will know exactly how much everyone has and will be able to steal it at will via negative interest rates or simply through bail-ins.

Other than some low-level bartering, every transaction for goods and services will be easily identified. There goes what's known as the black economy: the government will get more in taxes (a polite word for stealing) for them to redistribute to the top 1%, or fraction thereof.

If taxes are stealing then go and live in a field

As you use the benefits of taxation every single day of your life. From paved roads to drinking water.

There's no if about it, tax is stealing... legalised stealing.

I can guarantee you, and anyone else who reads this message, that when you turn your toes up the state would have stolen more of your wealth than any mugger, burglar or scam artist ever will.

They are in league with the bankers. Together they conspire to steal through inflation. That hidden tax is the number one reason that just 62 families have the same wealth as the poorest 3.7 billion people in the world today and why 20 US billionaires combined wealth is more than the poorest 50% (163 million) of US citizens.

How many of these are getting state funding?

If you don't agree with tax though what way do you suggest we pay for things collectively?

My guess is we will start to get stories of people doing dodgy deals using cash so they can't trace them blah blah blah, probably involving drugs, nobody wants to buy drugs with a debit card

Wot, no mention of weapons of mass destruction assembled from ingredients bought down Splott Market for a fiver? Or the Child Maintenance Service being unable to collar an absent father because he paid cash for drinks down the Wynford after a one-night stand?

I bet they've already drawn up a list of suspect "benefits", those Behavioural Psychologists in the Nudge Unit don't miss a trick, and they'd probably make a trip to the gas chamber sound appealing

So many solutions, they can't make up the problems for them quick enough.

by all accounts, the " molly " dealers in the US are using prepaid mastercards for bigger deals, they hand over 50 pills and the buyer hands over a prepaid card loaded with X amount ( checked online with a mobile )

by all accounts the Police have no way to tell how much is on the card, when the dealer gets his phone call, he calls a " money man " who empties the card to somewhere else, thus even if the police go to a court and get the company to tell them how much is on the card, its gone

John Kerry threatens to cut off all US contact with Russia over Syria - http://metro.co.uk/2016/09/28/us-thr...syria-6158567/

The Yanks and their compliant media are becoming desperate to stop ISIS & co from being obliterated in Allepo, but the Russians won't back down.

I must say I have a certain admiration for our TruBlue. With each passing day his call-up papers dropping through the letter box draws nearer. I daresay when he's soaking wet and up to his chest in mud in a forward trench he'll endure the hardship with stoicism.
