Hoilett signed an hour ago according to WOL.
Bloody hell, an exciting player who the fans have actually heard of...Things really are looking up
That isn't unusual. Here is the WOL heading:
Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock signs Junior Hoilett as he immediately bolsters his Bluebirds team

Just noticed that Hoilett is playing for Canada tonight v Mauritania. Presumably the deal can't have been done unless his agent had the power to do the deal without the player's signature.
Always rated him highly as a player, whether his best days are behind him and his attitude is as it should be is a different matter but in Colin we trust 😬
I'm beginning to wonder whether Hoilett has signed although WOL are continuing to claim he has. On Talk Sport this morning Warnock fobbed off questions about signings by saying he was looking at two or three players who were out of contract but didn't confirm anyone had actually signed even though Hoilett was mentioned by the presenter Allan Brazil. The confusion is compounded by the fact Hoilett was in Canada yesterday playing against Mauritania.
I guess we shall have to await how the story unfolds.

Sol Bamba and Junior Hoilett set to join Neil Warnock's Cardiff City

Bamba, 31, left Leeds United in September while Hoilett is also a free agent having left QPR in the summer.
Canadian Hoilett is being brought in to provide pace on the Bluebirds' flanks.
Ivory Coast international Bamba will help bolster a defence that has conceded 19 league goals this season and left Cardiff second from bottom of the Championship.
Canada international Hoilett was seen as one of the brightest young players in the Premier League.
His progress has been hampered by injury in recent seasons, but in 2015-16 he made 31 appearances for QPR and scored six goals.
Hoilett is set to be involved when Warnock takes charge of his first Cardiff game as Bristol City visit the Welsh capital on Friday, 14 October.
That game could also see Ivory Coast international Bamba's introduction following his departure from Elland Road for "personal reasons".
He was playing in North Africa rather than in Canada , but the same logic applies.
Write-ups on the official Canadian "soccer" website indicates that he created a number of chances for his team mates in both World Cup qualifying games (they finished 3rd and didn't make it to the next round) and in the latest friendly ( no idea how poor Mauritania are mind) with reports saying he frequently took on the opposing defenders with pace. Some optimism to gather from that possibly?

Have to say, I'm as excited with the Hoilet signing as much as any other signing we've made over the past couple of years. He's exactly the type of player we need. Surprised we've got him.
He'll be a good player for Kadeem to learn from too.
