If you believe WOL, Tan wanted PT gone after Leeds. So, they could have drawn up a list of who they wanted, ie Warnock then.

After Burton, the club probably spoke to him that night/the day after. It doesn't take a genius to work out that we needed a back up striker, pace and another cb.
