Maybe Darren Purse thinks it’s his brother?

Looking at the starting line up,I think he had to play there.

Finished 2-0, think City have a good chance of qualifying now.

I thought he was good, I much prefer him playing centrally than out wide

Having watched the highlights of yesterday's game, I think the second one probably was an own goal.

There was a commentary on the highlights, but it was total silence on the stream yesterday - the club website often seems to have an issue with putting sound to the pictures with under 21 games.

I watched some of the game on you tube and the sound was fine. Thought Tanner played well, if a bit wasteful with a couple of chances, he worked hard and his pressing led to the second goal. Tom Sang was good to watch as always in the middle, always looks to have time on the ball and keeps the game moving. Campbell had a good game, saw a lot of him going forward. Colwell took his goal superbly, and was always looking for the ball and also did some decent defensive work.

I didn't watch it all yesterday but there was sound & commentary for me on the bits I did watch. Odd.

That's weird as I watched it on you tube and there was commentary?

I watch You Tube all on my telly all of the time these days and have never has issues with sound with it for anything else but City commentaries. Next time they stream an under 21 match, I’ll try to remember to try it on my laptop to see if I can hear anything on there.

Glad you mentioned Sang as he always strikes me as exactly the type of person we need in midfield but only seems to get near the squad when we have injuries?? We seem to go with he tried and tested even when results don't warrant

Glad you think that. He seems like a younger version of Ralls potentially but a bit quicker of thought and less prone to flying in to a challenge.

U21 goalie Matt Turner has been loaned to Aberystwyth Town for the rest of the season.
James Crole was loaned to Torquay yesterday and Ollie Tanner looks set for a spell with York.
Chanka Zimba has had his loan at Newport cut short.

Under 18 league games are never streamed, but the Youth Cup match at Oxford, which I’m pretty sure is being played in midweek, might well be.

Zimba and Leahy offered to Cymru Premier and National League clubs for loan:

    https://clwbpeldroed.org/2023/01/07/...ba-jack-leahy/

Zimba - with previous loans to Northampton and Newport - needs a successful loan spell. He hasn't stepped up as hoped.
