Great form, please God, a few of the lads kick on, catch the eye and make the step up. God knows we need some young blood, our own young blood at that.

Interesting to see if the bloke recently appointed to make that happen makes a difference.

League tables up to date to Christmas for the under 18s and under 21s, the under 18s have played, and won, a game since then (as have Watford, while the wurzels have lost a game)

I suppose there's a chance it might be frozen off, but City's under 21s are due to play Watford at Leckwith today (kick off 2 o clock) - I assume it'll be streamed if the game goes ahead.

0-0 half time, not too many signs of a goal, but there’s a nice contrast in styles between the teams to make it watchable. Watford are tending to build up slowly and deliberately, whereas we’re looking to hit them on the break with our four quic k attacking players.

Spiers doing well at right back and Kenniford and Barton are making a good midfield pairing.

Finished 0-0, we had little to offer as an attacking force once Watford started pressing higher up the pitch and this allowed centre backs Fagan-Walcott and Cook to come to the fore as we came under pressure,. That said, we came closest to winning the game when one of Watford’s centrebacks and their keeper had a Plymouth own goal type breakdown in communications and a back pass rolled about a foot wide with the keeper nowhere.

Fagan-Walcott has joined Dunfermline on loan in the Scottish championship.
We seem to be sending a lot of our young players to Scotland.

Let's hope he gets more game time than some of our other loans that have gone north of the border this season.

If you are talking about Messrs Denham and Davies neither are being selected for their teams, we have not recalled them so, I guess that we don't care because they do not have a future with us and we are glad to have their wages off the books. It seems to be different for Eli and, perhaps, Fagan-Walcott.

Excellent debut for him yesterday, from what I can make out, as Dunfermline drew 0-0 at league leaders Dundee United. Fans and management have been singing his praises. One fan wanted him to be given a lifelong contract but he should be careful what he wishes for, we tried that with Bacuna and it didn't come off.
