    8 years?

    Apologies for Daily Mail

In comparison to other convictions I think 8 years was ludicrous. The judge should be questioned as to why:

Judge OVERTURNS conviction of former private schoolgirl who was jailed for eight years for tricking a female friend into sex by pretending to be a man

-Gayle Newland was jailed for eight years for three counts of sexual assault

-26-year-old wore a prosthetic penis when she had sex with a complainant

-Newland, from Cheshire, has had conviction quashed and will face retrial

Ched Evans reportedly raped a helpless women, what did he serve? A year and bit?????????? His initial sentence was 5 years.

8 years. Jesus Christ. Part of sentencing should involve future risk to public safety. Do you think that girl is a risk?.

This is written about the judge that sentenced her. Hopefully he is no longer employed with these ridiculously lobsided sentences. Just because one has had mass coverage:

Judge Roger Dutton gave Gayle Newland an eight-year sentence in November, which is longer than the terms he gave to people who sexually abused children in the past.

He once handed a teacher who abused 24 boys aged between eight and 13 to just six and a half years in prison.

In 2010, the judge jailed Michael Farrell for four years and eight months after he had sex with four 13-year-old girls - one became pregnant, suffered a miscarriage and then attempted suicide.

And in 2014, he locked up a former French teacher who was accused of abusing 24 boys in the 1970s to only six years and nine months in prison.

Keith Cavendish-Coulson, 71, preyed on boys aged between eight and 13 at a boarding school.

What this girl did is obviously wrong. But how on earth do you not realise someone is wearing a facemask of a man. Using a fake penis?.

The case is baffling and her treatment pretty awful.
