Black Mirror

I watched the first episode of the first series last night. Didn't like it - I get the joke but not worth stringing it out for an hour. I watched about 20 minutes of the second episode and turned it off. Each to their own I suppose.

Fair comment. There were some superb ones in series one and two and some so so ones. I loved White Bear which is my personal favourite Black Mirror to date. They have all been interesting in their own way though. Even though the first two of BM3 had acting that grated they have still been enjoyable. Brooker is a top talent.

Just watched Shut up and dance. Now that's more like it. No silly American character leads and nice and dark. Very dark.

That fourth episode, San Junipero, was just about the best hour of TV I've seen in a good few years.

It was one of the better ones. However the American makeover of Black Mirror was not needed and has taken the edge off for me. I preferred it on Channel 4
