At least he got his shot on target, unlike Ralls.

Ralls got a good header on target though.

    Re: Pilkington

Should be put of ****ing sight. Pilkington and Ralls have both shot when they could have squared for tap ins and then Pilkington should have buried that rebound.
Making hard work of it ffs could have sorted our very poor goal difference right out.

But it is still 3 points away from home

Gunnar took the blame for their pen which gave us a nervous ten minutes but we should've been out of sight long before then.
Tbf though, if Slade was still here it would've ended 2-2. Or worse.

Gutted Charlton got an injury time equaliser I could be singing "Never felt more like singing the blues when Cardiff win and Charlton lose" tonight

The only credit that you can give him is that he made the opportunities. Hopefully on another day he will score

Terrible miss but Pilkington played really well when he came on

I was going to mention that. He did show why he's not a striker though.

Personally I thought he did an excellent job up front, got one of theirs sent off and was a constant threat.

Yes, his finishing was poor, but his running and movement made those chances. We looked better with him up top than Lambert, who's looked like he's struggling for fitness in the last few games games.
Let's not forget he's still our top scorer this season.

Let's not get carried away here, he's still only one ahead of Shane Duffy

Ye totally agree with you his movement and running cause problems ,pity he can't finish, but if he could wouldn't be playing at this level, did a good job last year when we had no strikers.
