    33% possession ???
You're aware you have the 3rd highest long-ball stats in the Championship right?

Why are you quoting your defeated manager as some sort of authority. We had 3 players that night who hadn't kicked a ball all season and we still beat you.

From a penalty off a bloke who was offside and constantly pulling down and kicking our best player. Wonderful.

And STILL no counter to the point that Warnock has turned you into a long ball outfit that doesn't even try to play the ball out of defence....

    Smoke and mirrors eh?

There is at least one of your fans on here not impressed with the style.
I can't recall who or where but it's on here.

    Again what was the score

Your long-ball stats are much higher than ours this season. And nearly the highest in the league.

You really need to get over it. We had a scratch side that had hardly trained together and 3 players who hadn't kicked a ball all season and we still beat you. Not sure why you keep bringing it up tbh - but thanks anyway.

Strange that you haven't countered that you have become a direct long ball outfit...

    Simply because we aren't.
There was one side in Cardiff on the Friday night playing football and it was in red.
Despite your cynical attempts to bring down Lee Tomlin at every occasion....

Try and justify it all you like you tit. How many point did you get from the Cardiff game? Zero, so pipe down you fanny.

    34%?

As I read on here from one of your own fans
"I thought the purpose was to actually keep the ball"

How many times v us and Forest did your back 4 not even attempt to play it out (like we do by playing it through Lee Tomlin often)....

But no let's ignore that and concentrate on a reply based on alleged Bristol City fan behaviour because that's relevant...
Possession stats mean nothing. It's easy to pass back and square leaving 4 men back v 1 striker. You don't create anything that way.
If you enjoy that, then good for you, but our side have taken 7 points in 3 games, scoring goals and creating loads of chances.
If you'd watched Saturday you would have seen Forest digging their own graves by trying to play the ball in the wrong areas. I'd be fuming if our lads did that- and their fans weren't happy either .
And the bloke you quote is a 'one off' , not really representative of the rest of us.

You really are a poor, poor standard bearer for your club's fans, with clearly no genuine football knowledge whatsoever.

We won 2 - 1 Charles, a score-line which will no doubt sound very familiar to you

    No football knowledge?
So I will ask you - as everyone else refuses to admit it - have you not become a direct route one side?
To give Trollope some credit and ex-gas and Cardiff is hardly my favourite, but the bloke actually did try to play football the right way.

And no you don't need to pass sideways and back but you can actually play the ball through the midfield and then also release wingers.
I did see you v Forest and you don't even try and play it out of defence now. You launch it. Classic fking Warnock.

When you resort to quoting Chepstow to support your argument, you really have lost it!

Leicester won the premier league with 43% possession stats and plenty of long balls but i don't suppose you,d want your team to win like that

    On long ball thuggish whoosh-ball.
    You clearly have low standards.

It's a simple question. Nobody seems to want to admit it.
    Trollope tried to play football.
    Warnock's sides don't.

Noone was possibly a knat's whisker offside - but impossible for the officials to guess that and they didn't have ten looks, three angles and freeze frame. If your clowns had defended better it wouldn't even be a discussion point.

And your best player being Tomlin? The diving cheat who tried to con the ref into giving him a penalty with his first dive, then got Whitts booked when he did con the ref with another dive? Should have been given two yellows and an escort to the cheats room!

    You seen their style.
What would you rather watch? Seeing as you're quoting Champions.
