Due to a set of unfortunate circumstances I felt obliged to attend a cider-tasting event at Temple Meads station last year.
A band was present and played two sets. They were, believe it or not, a Wurzels tribute band!
    Not exactly a great experience...

I was at a conference in Blackpool Winter Gardens in about 1984. I was wandering around and heard music coming from a doorway. I walked through and I was at the back of an auditorium with the Three Degrees on stage. No one seemed bothered so I stayed for a song or two and then left.

Gene Vincent, January 1960. Went to see Eddie Cochran on the bill. Was never a fan of Vincent, but he was terrific that night.
The old Gaumont cinema was the venue, later to be turned into the Top Rank.

Was that THE Top Rank on Queen Street?

Always wanted to know the building's history before it was a club. Must've been a huge underground cavern of a cinema??

Home taping is killing the music industry!!

Psychic TV was one that stands out and Earl Zinger another.
