Thread: Gunnarsson

    Gunnarsson

Besides Jimmy the Jock I'm probably his biggest critic on here, but I think he's been outstanding the last two games.
He looks like a different player at the moment. Instead of just ambling around the park like he's auditioning for Baywatch he looks fitter, sharper and ironically better in possession too.
He was man of the match by a country mile and long may it continue.

    Well said.
Our best player today by a country mile.

I think the step up in pace and change of philosophy has helped him. Its not going to be Possession / technical battle (that we rarely won)

On the other hand Peltier is going backwards.....He used to be a decent defender who could pass to safety, to a decent defender who kicks it anywhere, even if a safe pass is available.

Gunnarson was very good. Bennett looks like a real class player.

Should be the captain no offence to Morrison who is playing well but Gunnar is a born leader.

TBF, he's not looked that way (in a City shirt) for some time.
We can have leaders (not too many all of a sudden!) without the armband. From what I can see, Bamba has been doing it.
