Never mind any of the worries about brexit

A Tory mp has come up with an idea that will really lift the spirits of the nation.

To commemorate the brexit decision the bbc to play the national anthem at the end of each day.

This is a genuine suggestion by a currently serving tory mp

    Same here.

Followed by a little dot in the middle of the telly.

Sometimes I used to stay up to watch the dot.

    Those were the days.

I liked the little girl and her creepy clown.

I used to watch it for ages because I was sure that at some point either the girl or the clown would move.

It must have been a fair wait - as Watch With Mother didn't start until 1.30pm

By the way, a few years ago I bought a video with a week's recordings of WWM. It features Bill and Ben (the first children's programme to feature Weed), The Woodentops, Andy Pandy (who I reckon swung both ways i.e. with Loopy Lou and Teddy), Picture Book and Rag, tag and Bobtail.

The Beeb has happily obliged his wishes for God Save The Queen to be played.

I have always preferred the radio to television as I believe the pictures in one's imagination are better than one gets on the small screen. So imagine my outrage when I pictured the gay kiss between the chef from Grey Gables and Adam Macey from Home Farm in last week's episode of The Archers. And to broadcast it at 7.30 in the evening when small children could be picturing it was truly irresponsible.
