Thread: Cardiff Council New Budget Proposal, if you want to get involved

Re: Cardiff Council New Budget Proposal, if you want to get involved

Inflation's at 0.6%. A 3.7% Countil Tax rise is six times what inflation is, and school meals are increasing seven times that rate. Huge numbers of Cardiffians won't notice or care as their Council Tax bill will be £0.00, the same price as their kids' school meals. Life's not all bad for the unemployable and teenage sprog droppers. But for those who slog for an income, touch your toes and force a smile.

Roll on October 26th I say.

None of this will matter a jot then.

No more council tax rises, please. It's a joke, an absolute joke. Charge the kids a 5er for school meals for all I care.

Sack anyone working for the council that is on on over 50k a year.
Outsource all the clerical / IT / Admin / Highways maintenance work to Indian sub contractors who will work for 70% less than we pay the current workforce.

    Sorted
Too many committees to get through , all with self interest, just pay up they are worth every penny ,they work as late as 4pm some days, enjoy generous flexi working ,thankfully they have long breaks starting midday Friday through to 10 pm Mondays ,they got a cheek making dustbin men working anti social hours.

26% of people working in wales work in the public sector
