Ohio and Florida are increasingly looked my like Trump. He only needs Michigan now

Good to see we weren't the only ****tards to willingly sabotage their own futures!

I could understand the EU referendum vote even though I voted remain, but President Trump? I'm afraid I just don't get that one - the world is becoming a nasty and bitter place.

I grew up in a globalising world and have loved the benefits it has brought. Sadly, I think it moved too fast for some and a lot of people struggled to keep up. Protectionism, fear of foreigners, self preservation are the top of people's lists.

There was such an air of inevitability about this. Screw the polls and analysts prediction, you can just feel that it was going to happen

Well I never really believed it could happen but it's looking very likely that Trump will be the US President. Unreal stuff.

I can see why he got in.

If I was an unemployed black steelworker in the rust belt, what the hell has the system down for me over the last 30
Years. If you've got nothing you have nothing to lose, I'd take the uncertainty of Trump over guaranteed no change everytime- ditto for Brexit

Just to confirm I'm not a trump supporter

Clinton millenials in tears reminiscent of the Brexit millenials. I wonder if they will also insist on a 2nd vote?

Not an easy watch but this video might explain some of the psychology involved https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN_FOCF3vIQ

I wouldn't take it as gospel, but he's in the ballpark regarding Trump voters.

Didn't see this coming but Brexit and now Trump. It's going to be a bumpy ride over the next few years that's for sure.

Marine Le Pen in for France next Spring to complete the apocalyptic hat trick?

At least we dodged a bullet with Bo Jo for PM

Hilary hasn't got the morals to make a concession speech, how bizarre sending everyone home.

Re: US Election - Trump Ahead Currently

Clinton is not the morally superior choice as many are making her out to be.

All the "nice people" at her rallies thinking they're the best people. Crying when America chooses a businessman over a corporate speaker.

A vote for Clinton is a vote for the war mongering that has destroyed the middle east. But she is nice to migrants, so that obviously takes a priority.............

If Trump signals a reduction in American wars abroad then that is the major positive.

    Pretty pathetic.

Hundreds of millions put into her campaign. People donating their hard earned money. Banks giving her ludicrous sums.

Her fans out until 2am and she doesn't even give a speech!.

This'll go down as one of the very worst loses.

And she's selfish for taking the place of a genuine Welsh player in the national team.

Re: US Election - Trump Ahead Currently

I can't prove this, but I think 2016 will go down in history as the closest America came to electing a socialist President. Bernie Sanders would have offered the sort of people who won the election for Trump a rival "something different" candidate to vote for and I reckon this is an election that Hilary Clinton lost more than Donald Trump won.

So, we have yet another election where it appears that people who voted for the winning side were, apparently, too embarrassed to admit doing so - says it all really.

In fairness she's probably quickly boarding a flight to some place without a US extradition order if the things he said in the run up are true.
