Agree with every word of that, but it seems we are out of touch with current attitudes because all of the offensive stuff said by Trump during the campaign was only banter which he didn't really mean - Trump has spent his life showing the rules (e.g. paying tax) don't apply to him, so, for reasons I can't begin to understand, people apply different criteria when judging him compared to anyone else standing for high office.

I've watched the 4 series of House of Cards so far and continued throughout to convince myself that it was pretty fantastic - in both senses of the word - not a portrayal that reflected the real Washington or 'real' US Political 'elite'.

Well apart from the number of women that have come forward his own comment on record about grabbing women by the genitalia is a bit of a give away. Then again it was just locker room talk allegedly.
