I would hazard a guess that about two to three hundred were there.

What with Vinnie's mum and now "OUR NEIL'S" Mrs, we owe a lot to the ladies at this club.

It was a very enjoyable evening and well managed by the club. There was a small degree of unease amongst club staff as throwing open questions to the floor will always lead to some uncertainty as to what might be asked. As it turned out most of the questions from the floor were very good and only one was ill advised.

Neil is certainly an accomplished performer and his confidence, easy going manner and evident self-belief confirmed, what appears to be everyone's belief, that he is the right appointment. As you might expect, he chose his words very carefully , confirming that he had plans for the January window but that he would have to make room in the wage bill to accommodate new recruits. His willingness at the end to make himself available for a further half hour of individual chat and photo opportunities further enhanced his popularity

It was interesting to compare last evening with the similar Russell Slade Q&A event not so long ago. Last night you felt that Neil was entirely confident in his plans , especially in the context of his previous experience whereas RS was less convincing is his responses and performance.

It was mentioned that the club would be taking the NW roadshow to other parts of the South Wales Cardiff City fan catchment area which will be an excellent move.

Brilliant stuff - even if a lot of it is a re-run of the anecdotes he has told countless times before. You can't watch it without laughing and feeling enthused, and being very grateful that he is managing our team and not someone elses.
