Scored against Dundalk last night in Europa cup and thought his name rung a bell
Quick search and realised he was the dutch guy we were heavily linked in the transfer window, although i think for the most part we were being used by his agent to inflate his price. But still, he moved from Heracles to AZ Alkmaar for £1 million (€1.5 million) and scored 7 goals in 11 games.
Hindsight is a great thing but could have been a good signing
I sure at the time the general consensus was he was rubbish and we dodged a bullet.
