Steve Borely posted on here about modern football once and how he cherishes all of it, and while there are things to find tiring about the modern game and to fight to prevent the game from being ruined not being able to stand next to away fans is not one of them.
There are dozens of examples of the stadiums with the best atmospheres where fans don't have to see each others faces to make noise and get behind the team. Arguably more than those where fans do see each other (behind a big green netting).
Seems to hark back to the days where they had special status under Sam tbh.
