Midnight snack

Last night, after you posted this thread, I had liver and bacon with a few rounds of bread and butter to dip in the gravy.

Usually though i'm more likely to have some cheese or pate with crackers.

Now that is a midnight snack.

Welsh rarebit with a couple of anchovies for me!

I like that.

Or at least a simplified version - cheese on toast - grilled to the edge of existence- mature cheddar bubbling golden and the anchovies sizzling. Oh yeah.
