Thread: Marcos Rojo

    Marcos Rojo

Should have been banned twice in the last week.
His two footed tackle against Everton was disgraceful and now he repeats it against Crystal Palace.
Never mind bookings and sending off for back chat, he will end up breaking someone's leg

He plays for Man Utd though and his manager thinks his tackling is ok

Yes I read that and laughed out loud.
This young kid is completely raw and thinks jumping in with two feet is OK.
He has already got away with it twice in a week.
Surely action can be taken after the event due to video footage ??

No the rule says that if the ref saw it nothing can be done, and he saw it because he booked him when he should have sent him off

Aahh now I understand. Did he get booked against Crystal Palace ?
I thought Pardew was moaning as he got off completely

    Re: Marcos Rojo

Clearly wants some time off for Christmas but the refs aren't helping him out.

Well that idiot Pardew was on the touchline gesticulating that he should have been given a card.

Pardiola should have been sent to the stands for that. (Amongst other things......)

This was just one of many decisions the officials for that game got wrong and were slated by the MOTD pundits.
I must say though that the way these "experts" (Shearer in this case) sit there and pontificate like some counsel for the prosecution without fear of any comeback grates on me.

Yes, the officials made mistakes, unlike yourself Mister massive under-achiever whose trophy cabinet is as bare as a pornstar's bollocks

A lot of these ex-players believe they are owed a living from the game and that having played, they know everything.
Gary Neville and OGS spring to mind

    Re: Marcos Rojo

Whilst we pull our hair out at some refereeing decisions we need to realise they have the hardest job on the field and make decisions in a split second without the benefit of a replay unlike those sat in their comfy tv studio.

These pundits slate them week in week out then have a nerve to jump on the "respect the ref" bandwagon.
