I disagree because I know plenty of left handed people who eat with a folk in the left hand, myself and my wife included.
Besides, surely right handed people are more likely to eat with a folk in the right hand.

i,m left handed, i eat with a fork in my left hand if using a knife and fork but right hand if fork only, i,m a bit odd mind
