Spoke to Derby County supporting mate this morning and he is quite confident that they are in for him. Now if it is a choice between us and Derby then I think Neil will need to be at his persuasive best!
Derby also have the advantage that the Football Fair Play rules don't apply to them, so they can spend what they like!
Shame the rumour is from the Express is it's bound to be untrue. Paterson is one of the best prospects in the SPL. He can play at CB and RB and though young, is a natural leader. 500k would be a great buy.
