Interesting. Probably nothing but paper talk - but it sounds much more likely than the 'links' with Adel Taarabt that have been around since Warnock rolled up. In his autobiography (the second one!) he spoke in glowing terms about Faurlin - whereas Taarabt was non-stop trouble and although talented was an experience he said he never wanted to repeat.

He joined Getafe as a free agent in August but I can't see anything about length of contract with a quick search. Maybe it was a Chamakh/Richardson type contract?

Could be something in this. With Warnock's track record he will go forth players he has worked with before and they will want to work with him. IMO the 3/4 players he wants are already all but done and dusted.

There may well be something in this as Getafe have just signed a new player who plays in the same position as Faurlin. Warnock clearly rates Faurlin & I doubt that he will cost much so I would not be surprised if this happens

He hasnt played much football recently, previous to that he was injury prone. He has dodgy knees.

You might be right although he has played in 12/19 league games for Getafe this season & is rated highly by their supporters. Also looking at some QPR forums there would appear to be a fair number of their fans who would love to have him back.

If this does come off I hope that those amongst us who tend to be quick to form negative opinions about players give him a chance to show what he can do.

I try not to have an negative opinion till a player has proved he is crap (or past his sell by date)

Fraulin has played 10 games this season , starting with 60 minutes or so and building up to the whole game,every game . For some reason he has missed their last two games back in early December.

If he is indeed on Warnocks radar and has retained his ability to pick a pass , I look forward to watching him play for Cardiff.
