Looking for a short break in either June or November and having done Dubai a few times would like to try Abu Dhabi. Prices are so cheap now with so many flights per day flying to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
It's now possible to have four nights in a five star hotel with direct flights for under £450 pp
Anyone done both and can offer an educated view and comparison please ??
Both cities have lots to offer and as you know it's hot as feck there.
Abu Dhabi has the F1 track and you're able to visit there and take your bicycle/go for a run around it if you're into that sort of thing.
Pretty expensive for a pint mind as it is everywhere that part of the world.
Only been to Abu Dabi airport which was impressive. Was in Dubai in September and loved the place the hotels are pretty luxurious.
Off to Thailand Saturday first time (koh Samui) gonna take the sleeper train back to Bangkok on way home.
Mrs R just saw this title and thought it was the name of our new striker.
Hey,don't shoot the messenger. Just sayin'
it is controlled by isis who will torture and behead westerners. apart from that the weather is nice.

I lived in the UAE for 4 years. Don't go in June, it can get up to 45C and is very humid. November is ideal, not humid, temps about 20-25C. But AUD no cheaper than Dubai, except maybe for the taxis. Not at all like Dubai, quieter, more family-oriented, pleasant place for a short break by a hotel swimming pool in November.
