At least it'll give the people of Devon the chance to see their heroes in the replay next week against Plymouth.

Serves Liverpool right. The 3rd round of the FA Cup has become a joke.

There FA needs to take action to ensure clubs take the competition more seriously. Something like a minimum-game eligibility would be a start.

In fairness, they dominated the game today...28 shots (only 4 on target), 18 corners, 77% possession ...but still couldn't manage to get one in the back of the net.

    Sad but true.

I think the prize money for winning the FA cup is about £2m win the championship and clubs can expect to earn 100 times that amount.

Warnock said elsewhere that the money involved in football is immoral, I agree. There is SO much emphasis on the premier league, and Champions league that the FA cup, once of equal standing to winning the league, is now largely irrelevant.

Things won't change until SKY start throwing money at it.

I doubt Liverpool will lose sleep over the result.Send the same team, basically their U23 Team and it will give them more game time.Nice little earner for Argyle.
