Agree with you there.
Was seeing some bird last year from Bristol and decided to book a hotel in the centre near some gutted out bus that's been turned into a restaurant or something.
Walking around early evening I don't think I've seen as many weirdos and crack heads in my life as I'd seen walking from the hotel to a bar around the corner and this was in quite a nice area!
