As with most media narratives, the whole doomsday rubbish will soon end.

He released to The Times that he is looking to reduce nuclear capability.

People are getting themselves so worked up.

    Yeah.

    Other country's.

The article in the OP is funny, would be even funnier if it wasn't true.

And you find that surprising? Evidently, not all people have your apparent vision.
Much of the population are gullible and reactionary. As we all are - to widely varying degrees.

And yet three weeks earlier he was saying this;-

Very funny by the Scottish Herald, but I bet it's been noted on the Trump team and will be revisited in the future - like many of his type, Trump seems to be very thin skinned.

I understand that but people are calling for him to be assassinated on media sensationalism.

One of the statements was that only muslims from terrorist hotspots will be vetted.

Not an entire ban on muslims.

I liked the Sun (not my paper honest) headline last week "Grumpy Trumpy gets Rumpy Pumpy Humpy".
Crap paper but their sub editors are good.

    Yep very thin skinned.

He hasn't been a politician. I don't think he has many policies really and is being fed them.

As with most politicians he is just a spokesman for the real decision makers. This is more so the case as he hasn't a clue.

He won't last long if he does actually bring in the outlandish policies the media thinks he'll introduce.

Things like the wall bordering mexico will help both the mexicans and americans. Yet it is talked about as if it is the wall in the west bank or the berlin wall. It is already fenced and walled for a large part of the border anyway.

Team Trump's campaign rally chants may have had some bearing on that!
Though, granted, the MM ought not to be quite so (apparently) taken in by it.

I still can't understand why nobody is challenging him on this. Yes, large parts of the border already have a robust barrier and is patrolled by quick response US border patrols. Where there is no barrier, would be immigrants have to cross a desert and dodge people traffickers. Several hundred of them die each year.

You can see what's going to happen next. People will just get vacation visas and just not go back, no doubt handing over their life savings to traffickers who will provide fake ID's/permits

Not that funny. The significant comment in the article is that the American people were 'duped' into voting for Trump. It seems nowadays that if Joe Public dare to go against what the media thinks they should vote, they must have been tricked or deluded.

It seems that so many different things are said in campaigns that it's difficult to identify (even asking could produce an edited response) why one individual voted the they did. Trump's supporters will say it's because he had a plan and a message for America whereas Hilary didn't whereas those who oppose him will point to quotes like "drain the swamp" before contradicting this by a) creating an establishment team who, if they follow Trump's lead, won't have to leave their personal businesses at the door and b) a team who deny climate change.

I just can't believe that Jimmy Fallon got to do this to the next US president: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0BYqzdiuJc

So worked up, over nothing right? What are your thoughts on the Affordable Care Act by the way? Or the nomination for Secretary of State's ties to Russia? Or the President Elect's attitude to the press?

Dont talk sense on here, you know the rules when discussing Trump, you have to get all worked up and bang the keyboard because he might have said this or that

How is building a 1300 mile wall at a cost of up to $25 Billion going to help anyone? It's not going to happen anyway. I doubt if it even gets started.
