A good read for non-believers:
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Moon_landing_hoax
Interesting points and articles.
IMO it still remains quite feasible that some (just some!) footage was 'tarted up' - for whatever reason(s), but it's easy to imagine why this could feasibly have occur, and its easy to find examples of apparently odd footage.
So, if any of this possible 'tarting up' wasn't done very well, it gives the impression of anomalies which gives rise to determined non-believers pointing at the whole thing and shouting 'hoax'!
Unfortunate if so, as the brave pioneers deserve better, as has been said.
Like I said, I used to think it was a hoax until I read more. This webpage wasn't around all those years ago for me, but it contains pretty much the same stuff. The conspiracy theory views are debunked and the arguments to say it did happen seem very difficult to argue against.
Another conspiracy theory is that they went to the moon and found that their is an alien base up there and the aliens were monitoring the moon landings. Apparently there are radio recordings of Armstrong describing the massive size of their ships. Apparently the following Apollo missions were quick visits, as the aliens didn't want them up there, probably bollocks, but who knows?
My problem with the moon landings were how they got through the Van Allen radiation fields around the earth? Conspiracy theorists say the ships and suits they travelled in offered little protection from the powerful radiation. Don't think we'll ever know the truth.
Always amuses me when people say they don't believe that they could have got safely through the Van Allen belt.
A quick Google will lead you to a large number of explanations and calculations showing it is demonstrably safe for the time they spent going through it.
Yet presumably you've read a nut job website that has told you it is literally impossible to survive going through and you've decided to accept that without question.
Ya, they said these were safe as well

Don't believe everything you read.
I used google like you have. Look, I'm no science expert and I doubt you are either. Ive seen tv programs regarding the Van Allen radiation fields as well, where they've questioned if we can get through them without being killed.
At the end of the day I couldn't really give a flying fack, so get off your high horse.
Ohh dear, there are some crazy ones on here.
If Germany won the 2nd world war (a big if I know) then the chances are they would have put the first man on the moon.
